Job Title: Electrical Service Engineer Automation Location: Ahmedabad, Delhi, kolkata, Jalna Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 1 To 5 Years Department: Engineering / Automation Services Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Electrical Service Engineer with experience in automation and industrial electrical systems . The ideal candidate will have 1 To 5 years of hands-on experience in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting automated equipment and electrical systems across various industrial applications. You will be a key part of our field service team, ensuring high uptime, optimal performance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Service, Installation & Commissioning Install, commission, and maintain automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control panels. Perform system wiring, panel integration, and field device configuration as per electrical and automation schematics. Test and validate control systems, ensuring all equipment meets technical specifications and customer requirements. Troubleshooting & Support Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and automation systems at customer sites. Provide real-time technical support to clients through on-site visits, phone, or remote access. Upgrade and modify control logic and electrical circuits to improve system performance. Documentation & Reporting Prepare detailed service and technical reports after every visit. Maintain records of installation, configuration, and service history. Assist in creating and updating electrical/automation schematics and SOPs. Customer Interaction & Training Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and explain technical details. Conduct basic user-level training for operators and technicians on automation systems and electrical controls. Compliance & Safety Ensure all work adheres to national electrical codes, industry standards, and company safety procedures. Conduct risk assessments before executing on-site work. Required Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering. Experience: 1To 5 years in service, installation, or commissioning of electrical and automation systems. Key Skills: Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, sensors, relays, and industrial automation hardware. Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuit design. Proficient in using tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and programming software. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in field environments. Ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines. Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer relationship skills Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, including remote industrial facilities.
