Role Summary : Responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical systems in a greenfield project under Project Management Consultancy (PMC) mode. This includes overseeing the design review, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure alignment with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities : Lead electrical activities for greenfield projects from design to commissioning under PMC framework. Review and approve electrical design, drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Coordinate with consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders. Experience in 66kv switch yard. Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, substations, control panels, cabling, and BMS integration. Ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations (CEIG, CEA, local codes). Conduct site inspections, quality audits, FATs and SATs. Drive schedule adherence and mitigate risks or delays proactively. Prepare and submit technical reports, progress updates, and commissioning documentation. Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. Supports the processes for checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings. Ensure recognized onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to Electrical design engineering are adopted. Prepares design specifications for Electrical works. Develop/follow check-list and ensure document quality of very high standards are met Effective technical and practical engineering skills, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to clients. Experience in MV/HV electrical system Knowledge in making data sheets and specification for Transformer, GIS, cables et and Specifications, MR etc A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the electrical discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines. Prepare lighting calculations in DIALUX with conventional / LED fixtures, lighting and small power layouts Preparation of MTO, DB Schedules MV cable sizing based on IEC60287 using CYMECAP will be an added advantage A thorough knowledge of regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to electrical design for oil and gas facilities. Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts. Performing Load Flow and Short Circuit Studies using ETAP and report preparation is an added advantage. Project Execution: Knows the discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability. Plans discipline quality, monitors quality activities, squad checking, drives and participates in squad checking, recommends improvements, and takes action where required. Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team, and consult with relevant resources as required. Coordinate review and approval of design and interfaces on client requirements and specifications. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors in Electrical engineering, minimum 18 years experience, out of which 10 years should be with O&G engineering Consultants Responsible for growing the department, ensure efficiency of department, set a role model, Spend 50% of time working as a lead, co-ordinate with other Avenir Offices, align with COMPANY policies Should be readily available to travel to other Avenir offices for duration of 5 days to 6 months Ensure diversity and inclusion is maintained in the discipline Have a good attitude
