Electrical Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draughtsman to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed electrical drawings and layouts for industrial systems. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and EPLAN, along with the ability to interpret P&I drawings and produce electrical schematics, cable tray layouts, and component layouts. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and Create Drawings: Understand P&I diagrams and convert them into accurate circuit diagrams using AutoCAD and EPLAN. Electrical Layouts: Design cable tray layout drawings and electrical component placement drawings in line with project specifications. Collaborative Development: Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure electrical designs align with operational needs and industry standards. Documentation: Ensure that all drawings are up-to-date, meet project standards, and comply with relevant regulations. Support Design Modifications: Assist with design modifications and troubleshooting as needed during the project lifecycle. Candidate Qualifications: Experience: 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman or in a similar role within an engineering company. Technical Proficiency: High level of fluency in engineering drawings, with expertise in AutoCAD and EPLAN for electrical design. PLC/SCADA Expertise (Preferred): Knowledge of PLC/SCADA programming will be considered an asset. Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously and accurately while maintaining a focus on quality and precision. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities to resolve design and electrical issues efficiently. Preferred Skills: Understanding of industrial furnace systems, heat treatment, powder metallurgy, or related fields. Experience with electrical systems and automation in industrial environments.
