Position: Electrical Draftsman Industry: Industrial Construction Location: Hyderabad Education Requirement: B.Tech in Electronics or Diploma in Electronics Experience: 3-6 years Note: Must have industrial Construction Experience in Designing, Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrical draftsman in industrial construction projects (e.g., factories, power plants, oil & gas, manufacturing facilities). Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman with experience in industrial construction design to prepare accurate and detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems in industrial environments, knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and proficiency in CAD software. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics for industrial construction projects. Develop single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable routing, panel schedules, and lighting layouts. Interpret and work from engineering sketches, specifications, and technical documents. Ensure designs comply with local codes, international standards (IEC, NEC, etc.), and project specifications. Collaborate with electrical engineers, civil and mechanical teams, and project managers. Assist in as-built drawings, revisions, and updates as required during and after project completion. Maintain organized drawing archives and version control. Support procurement and construction teams with accurate drawings and material take-offs (MTOs). Qualifications: B.Tech in Electronics or Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or Drafting. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrical draftsman in industrial construction projects (e.g., factories, power plants, oil & gas, manufacturing facilities). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (optional), and other relevant drafting tools. Knowledge of electrical components, distribution systems, instrumentation layouts, and earthing systems. Familiarity with project documentation, engineering drawings, and construction standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical specifications and technical data sheets. Preferred Skills: Familiar with ETAP, Dialux, or similar electrical design tools (a plus).
