Electrical Designer

Role & responsibilities: Ability to handle all design activities of a project independently with minimum support from engineers. Lead the group of Designers & Draughtsman. Technically guide and train them for timely completion of the project. Understand scope and battery limit and bring it up with lead if client requirement is more than what is required in the scope. Develop design drawings in 2D and 3D models for electrical systems. To make use of intelligent tools like automation of AutoCAD using excel, etc. Prime responsibility will be to develop 3D model using E3D/S3D Able to build E3D model/S3D model. Knowledge of libraries and database to minimize the time required for modelling. Able to build cable raceways, trays, routing, equipment (switchgears, transformers, generators, panels, light fitting, etc.) Ability to estimate cable tray size and supports required. Able to coordinate with other discipline designers / engineers to finalize the layouts. Run 3D model workshops with Clients at various stages. Extract MTO from E3D/S3D model. Extract 2D drawings from E3D/S3D Ability to interface with other disciplines to resolve clashes. Preferred candidate profile Expertise in Electrical design and drafting standards. Expertise in E3D/S3D tool Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.
