Job Description

Job Overview

Were looking for highly experienced and skilled

Electrical BIM Coordinator

to support project execution and coordination activities. The ideal candidates will have

6 to 12 years of experience

in BIM processes, MEP coordination, and client interfacing, with advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage BIM coordination activities for
Electrical systems
across multiple projects.
Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve clashes and ensure coordinated design models.
Develop, review, and manage detailed Revit models for
power, lighting, low voltage, and fire alarm systems (Electrical)
.
Conduct and participate in coordination meetings and walkthroughs with internal teams and clients.
Perform clash detection using Navisworks and generate clash reports.
Ensure all models adhere to project BIM standards, company protocols, and client requirements.
Support documentation, extraction of BOQs, and shop drawings from BIM models.
Provide technical guidance to junior modelers and engineers.
Track model progress, update logs, and ensure timely deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree or diploma in
Electrical Engineering
or a related field.
6-12 years of experience
in BIM coordination, preferably in large-scale MEP projects.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, BIM 360.
Strong knowledge of
electrical systems, international codes (NEC, IEC, NFPA, etc.)
.
Hands-on experience with clash detection, model coordination, and project documentation.
Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and lead coordination meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Autodesk Revit or BIM Management.
Familiarity with COBie, ISO 19650, and LOD requirements.
Experience in Data Center, Hospital, Commercial, or Infrastructure BIM projects.
