SUMMARY Responsible for coordinating, implementing, improving and verifying programs that support our environmental, health and safety systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage programs that support our environmental and safety goals; areas of responsibility could include accidents, emergency response, hazardous communications, radiation safety, industrial trucks, personal protective equipment, air pollution, water pollution, natural resource usage, hazardous waste, or other areas regulated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration Develop and maintain programs to support regulatory requirements and Jabil goals, by o Analyzes federal, state and local legal requirements and developing programs to support compliance o Ensures persons involved in programs are competent and addresses issues to increase compliance and conformance with company expectations o Documents programs by writing, revising and maintaining work instructions, procedures, visual aids o Maintains records of program as required by law and internal procedures o Determines effectiveness of programs through the collection and analysis of data; develops and implements corrective actions based upon analysis o Prepares reports for submission to corporate or regulatory bodies o Inspecting or auditing for compliance Interact with internal and external customers, including facilitating government inspections, and providing information to government inquiries Integrate all activities into the environmental, and health and safety management systems Develop solutions to environmental or safety concerns Serve as a subject matter technical resource to all levels of the organization in assigned area Support unassigned EHS programs as necessary Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ADIS (MSBTE) and 3 to 5 year's experience. Bachelor s degree in environmental sciences or a related field preferred.

Youll make an impact by: Provide management and employees with competent EHS advice and action plans. Provide guidance and support to management on the promotion and implementation of the EHS strategies, procedures, guidelines, and goals for continuous improvements, at all sites assigned in the region. Ensure that environment and health impacts and significant risks are identified, reviewed, and communicated and provide active support in mitigating such risks/impacts & regular visits to sites to provide practical safe solutions for high-risk activities. Ensure that appropriate measuring and monitoring of EHS issues is undertaken and reported accurately and transparently. Provide advice and support to BU management on EHS compliance. Provide assistance in the completion of risk assessments & JSA where required and ensure that they are regularly reviewed, and mitigation measures are undertaken. Ensure all accidents and near misses are recorded, reported, and investigated in accordance with the company accident and reporting procedures, and all corrective/preventive actions are identified, implemented, and reviewed. Ensure relevant EHS records (e.g. policy documentation, risk assessments, safety data sheets, registers, fire drills and training records etc.) are maintained and updated as and when necessary. Ensure provision is made for all employees, including temporary staff and contractors, to receive effective and sufficient training and instruction by way of the companys EHS competency development program. Act on employee complaints relating to Health, Safety or Welfare, communication through the relevant company channels and bring to the attention of the concerned authorities as required. Ensure updated information of legal requirements, hazards in the workplace company EHS policy and procedures. Ensure adequate supplies of effective PPE, as specified by risk assessments, are readily available for those employees visiting clientspremises. Youll win us over by: Diploma/Advance diploma in industrial safety from State-board. NEBOSH IGC will be an added advantage. Degree/Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or relevant branch of Engineering. Minimum 3 yrs of experience in driving Implementation of EHS System in the field of Indian Railway Projects and EPC Projects. Experience of handling multiple sites/ teams of EHS resources as an EHS coordinator. Detailed knowledge of all requirements pertaining to EHS. Have good communication skills and proficiency in reporting. This role is based in Bangalore. But youll also get to visit other locations in India and globe, so youll need to go where this journey takes you. The main areas of role and responsibilities, including the competencies that are particularly important to fulfill the role will be as under Advise and assist the management in fulfillment of the legal requirements and implementation of EHS management system at Substations, MV/HV electrical installations(indoor / outdoor), ETC services, filed service, electrical shutdown and O&M sites, for various industrial, IT & Discom customer Support field service operations team, Contractors and Customers to foster zero harm culture and ensure compliance to EHS requirements at project/ service and O&M sites. EHS Planning of service outage with the Supply Chain and Field service Manager. Support the Field service team in initial site EHS set up including site kick off meetings, inspection of tools, tackles, equipment and other EHS processes. Preparation and periodic review of site EHS Plan, Method statement, risk assessment, procedures at outage sites, CAPA rolled out by the back office. Contractor EHS management support the SCM and field service teams in Contractor EHS qualification checks, performance evaluations, improvement roadmaps, engagements, monitoring and reviews. Hand hold Contractors and Customer for developing Zero Harm Culture and further improvements. Conduct training for field service employees and Contractors at sites. Support site lead/in charge to achieve the EHS objectives, targets and management programmes. Incident reporting, investigation and analysis. Track compliance of actions. Compiling and communication of EHS MIS as per the set frequency. Conduct site EHS audits/ risk assessments as per the audit plan. Suggest resources and solutions for improvements. Interface with Customer and other interested parties related to the Business operations. Preparation of MIS and presentation to the Field services and EU EHS Head management. Desired candidate: Professional qualifications: Diploma/Advance diploma in industrial safety from State-board / technical boards/ DISH approved or B-Tech/ M-Tech in Safety. NEBOSH IGC will be an added advantage. Basic qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Power System branch of Engineering Work experience in the field of Electrical Service & Maintenance, Large Electrical EPC projects, MV/ HV Testing, commissioning for at least for 10 years. At least 5 years as independent site EHS in-charge. Experience of handling multiple sites/ team of EHS resources as an EHS coordinator. Detailed knowledge of all maintenance requirements pertaining to EHS.
