As a Database Administrator with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining EDB PostgreSQL databases. Your role will involve PostgreSQL & EDB Database Performance Tuning to optimize database performance and responsiveness. You will provide in-depth expertise and guidance on all aspects of EDB PostgreSQL database management, including setting up High Availability mechanisms like replication and failover to ensure continuous data access. Additionally, you will create and maintain data models for data integrity and efficient querying. Your duties will include PostgreSQL & EDB Database Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery Planning, Setup & Management. You will also be tasked with implementing database security measures such as access controls, encryption, and authentication. Collaboration with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders will be essential to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. Furthermore, you will need to scale the database to accommodate future growth and increased data volumes. Required Skills for this role include expertise in PostgreSQL & EDB Database management.
