As a Magento Developer at Gabriel & Co., you will be responsible for full-time on-site back-end web development, front-end development, object-oriented programming (OOP), and various e-commerce tasks. Your main role will involve developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based e-commerce websites, along with implementing and configuring Magento themes, extensions, and custom modules. It will be crucial to optimize website performance and ensure scalability. You will also be expected to develop and maintain APIs for external system integrations, write clean and reusable code following Magento's coding standards and best practices. Troubleshooting technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks will be a part of your responsibilities, as well as providing post-deployment support and maintenance. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with UX/UI designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects. Participating in code reviews and providing mentorship to junior developers will also be an important aspect of your job. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Magento development, with strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries such as Knockout.js and RequireJS. Familiarity with Magento architecture, e-commerce processes, and best practices is required, along with knowledge of version control systems like Git and deployment tools like Docker, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD. Additionally, having a strong understanding of SEO, analytics, and performance optimization will be beneficial. Knowledge of PWA Studio, GraphQL, and headless Magento is a plus for this role at Gabriel & Co.,
