As a Senior SEO Analyst at Elephant in the Boardroom, a dynamic digital marketing agency based in Australia, you will be responsible for enhancing organic performance for our Australian clients through hands-on expertise and a data-driven approach. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive SEO audits, developing tailored strategies, and optimizing content using AI-driven techniques to drive measurable growth. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct technical, on-page, and off-page SEO audits to identify areas for improvement. - Develop localized SEO strategies customized for Australian businesses and search behavior. - Utilize AI-based tools such as SurferSEO, Clearscope, and ChatGPT for content enhancement and keyword planning. - Optimize content focusing on E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles. - Monitor site performance, track KPIs, and analyze data using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush. - Collaborate closely with content and web teams to implement SEO recommendations effectively. - Stay abreast of SEO, AI, and SERP trends, particularly those relevant to the Australian market. Requirements: - 2-4 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency environment. - Proficiency in SEO tools and familiarity with AI-enhanced SEO strategies. - Understanding of local SEO specific to the Australian market is advantageous. - Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing performance reports. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate across internal teams and present insights to clients effectively. Nice to Have: - Experience working with clients from Australia or international markets. - Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS, with a focus on WordPress. - Exposure to AI-driven content or programmatic SEO techniques.
