Major Role and Responsibility: Candidate shall have worked on Detail Engineering of AIS and GIS Substation/Switchyard (66 kV, 132 kV, 220 kV). 400 kV and higher voltage shall be added advantage. Candidate should be aware on CEA, CBIP, IS, IEC, NEC and NFPA guidelines. Candidate should have CTU (PGCIL), STU (GETCO, MSETCL, RJVNPL, KPTCL, UPPTCL etc.) requirement. Candidate should have worked on key SLD, metering & protection SLD, substation plan and elevation, erection key diagram, clearance diagram etc. layout. Candidate should have worked on earthing system design in accordance with IEEE 80 standard. Candidate have experience on working ETAP, CDEGS or equivalent software would be preferred. Candidate should have worked on DSLP (direct storke lightning protection) and lightning risk assessment in line with IEEE 998, Dr. Rezvig Method, IEC 62305 method. Candidate should have worked on auxiliary transformer sizing, DG sizing, battery and battery charger sizing, UPS sizing. Candidate should have knowledge of Protection coordination studies for Switchyard. Candidate should have worked on cable schedule, cable sizing calculation, interconnection schedule. Candidate should have experience of technical procurement support management including technical specifications, offer review, technical bid analysis, vendor document review. Candidate have worked on Owners Engineering on Substation projects shall be added advantage. Candidate have working experience on Solar PV Plant, wind farm, BESS, green hydrogen facility design shall be added advantage. Candidate should have worked on auxiliary power system SLD, load list preparations on Substation. Candidate should have worked on main control room building equipment plan, cable trench layout, earthing layout, lightning protection etc. aspect. Additional Skills Candidate should have BE- Electrical or ME- Electrical degree. Good communication skills. Project Management Skills.

Preparation of load sheet Calculations for Transformer sizing, DG sizing, UPS sizing, Lighting, Lightning Protection, Cable Sizing, Earthing Preparing Single Line diagrams, Cable Schedule, Lighting layouts, Power point layout, Lightning Protection layout, Earthing layout, Cable tray layout, and Panels & DB location Preparing Specifications for Transformer, HT panel, LT panel, UPS, DG & Busduct etc Techno-commercial evaluation of Vendors offers. (I.e. Transformer, HT Panels, LT panels, Cables, UPS & DG etc.) Approval of GA drawings of Transformer, HT panels, LT panels, Light fixtures, DG set & UPS etc Preparing Tender Basis & Tender Specification document Review and co-ordinate electrical 2D AutoCAD drawings and 3D model with the other disciplines Preparation of scope of work and man-hours estimation for project. Preferred candidate profile Degree in Electrical Engineering with 06+ years of experience Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 08+ years of experience Candidate must have prior experience working on US Projects Any other Certificate course

Key Responsibilities: Design & Drafting: Prepare detailed electrical engineering drawings for solar power plants, including site plans, PV layout, control room layout, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable routing layout for solar arrays and other related infrastructure. Prepare single line diagram (SLD), equipment list with detailed BOM. Design electrical system layouts, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical standards, codes, and regulations.\ Work closely with the engineering team to translate conceptual designs into accurate, constructible drawings. Produce 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software tools. o Ensure all drawings comply with relevant local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager Design - Electrical to support the electrical system design of solar PV projects. The role involves creating detailed designs for DC, HT and AC systems, protection schemes, and grid interfacing for utility-scale and commercial solar installations. Key Responsibilities: Design and layout of electrical systems including PV modules, inverters, ITD, Power transformers, and switchgear. Prepare single line diagrams (SLDs) plan layout, Electrical designs including DC wiring, AC wiring & HT wiring, Earthing layout, LA layout, ITD design, ICR design, etc. Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and utility requirements. Conduct system simulations using software like Sketchup, PVsyst, Helioscope, and ETAP. Collaborate with project teams for technical support during erection and commissioning of the project Prepare detailed BoM, BoQ for the project, also review vendor specifications. Assist in preparation of technical documentation for regulatory approvals and tenders. Assist field team for solving site problems related to project design. Bom & BoQ. Review the electrical designs / GADs received from vendors. Prepare project manual comprises design, safety standards etc. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. 3–5 years of electrical design experience, preferably in solar power projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Sketchup, ETAP, and electrical design software. Understanding of grid integration, protection, and protocols standards. Familiar with safety and electrical standards. Strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
