Roles and Responsibilities E-commerce Manager (Apparel)

1. Online Store Management

Manage end-to-end operations of brand website (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and online marketplaces (Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, Nykaa Fashion, Ajio, etc.).

Ensure seamless user experience (UX), site functionality, and mobile responsiveness.

Oversee listing accuracy: product titles, descriptions, pricing, images, and size charts.

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

Develop and implement strategies to meet monthly and quarterly online sales targets.

Monitor performance KPIs: traffic, conversion rate, cart abandonment, ROAS, and average order value (AOV).

Plan and execute promotional calendars aligned with seasonality and campaigns.

3. Product & Catalog Management

Coordinate with design, merchandising, and inventory teams for timely product uploads.

Ensure new season launches and stock availability across platforms.

Manage returns, RTO rates, and customer feedback to improve catalog quality.

4. Marketplace Relationship Management

Liaise with category managers and buyers of online marketplaces for visibility, campaigns, and deals.

Manage listings, brand stores, content updates, and pricing strategy on 3P platforms.

5. Digital Marketing & Performance Ads

Plan and execute online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, Affiliate Marketing).

Optimize SEO, SEM, and email marketing strategies to drive organic and paid traffic.

Collaborate with digital agencies and in-house teams for performance tracking.

6. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

Forecast demand based on sales trends and campaign schedules.

Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth order fulfillment and timely dispatches.

Monitor aging inventory, stock-outs, and liquidation plans.

7. Analytics & Reporting

Analyze customer behavior, traffic sources, bounce rates, and heatmaps.

Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports for sales, campaign results, and ROI.
