XSQUADS is seeking a talented Storyboard Artist with 3 years of experience to assist in visualizing cinematic sequences and dynamic narratives through intricate storyboards. As a Storyboard Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging storyboards that convey cinematic sequences and developing dynamic shot compositions, camera angles, and movement for video sequences. You will collaborate closely with the creative team to translate concepts into clear, sequential storytelling frames and ensure visual continuity and storytelling flow for trailers, promotional videos, and in-game cutscenes. Additionally, you will work with video editors, VFX artists, and animators to guarantee the smooth execution of cinematic scenes. Using AI-assisted tools, you will enhance the efficiency and quality of storyboard creation. It will be essential to adapt storyboards based on feedback and revisions while maintaining artistic consistency. Keeping up with industry trends to improve cinematography and visual storytelling techniques is also a key aspect of the role. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Storyboard Artist in the entertainment, gaming, or animation industry and a strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, framing, and camera movement. Proficiency in digital drawing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software is required for storyboard creation. The ability to visualize action sequences, emotional expressions, and dynamic compositions is crucial, along with an understanding of lighting, perspective, and pacing in cinematic storytelling. Preferred skills include knowledge of film editing and post-production workflows, experience with storyboarding software such as Storyboard Pro or Clip Studio Paint, an understanding of game cinematics and motion graphics, and familiarity with AI-powered tools for storyboard and concept generation. A passion for creating engaging and visually striking cinematic sequences is highly valued.
