Job Description

Position Summary:

The DSP Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing signal processing algorithms for wireless communication systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with 2G, 4G, and 5G technologies, and a solid understanding of various RF protocols. This role involves designing, implementing, and testing DSP algorithms to enhance our cutting- edge communication solutions. This role will also involve working with transmitters, receivers,and software-defined radio (SDR) systems to ensure efficient communication system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing DSP algorithms using MATLAB/GNU Radio .
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
  • Experience implementing physical layer reception for digital communication systems, such as cellular networks, or digital broadcasting etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical work effectively.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of 2G, 4G, 5G standards, and various RF protocols like GSM, LTE, NR, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and implement ETSI/3GPP specifications for communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop DSP algorithms for wireless communication systems leveraging tools like MATLAB/GNU Radio.
  • Implement and optimize signal processing techniques for 2G, 4G, and 5G protocols.
  • Analyze and solve complex problems related to RF signal processing.
  • Develop and maintain simulation models to validate the performance of DSP algorithms.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate DSP algorithms into the overall system architecture.
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimization of DSP systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in DSP and wireless communication technologies.
  • Document design specifications, test procedures,and results.
