As a DSP SW Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, porting, and optimizing DSP software using audio algorithms on multiple amplifier hardware platforms and operating systems. You will serve as the go-to person for technical expertise within the team, with your work directly impacting the application of amplifiers for the car audio ecosystem. You will be an integral part of an Agile-Scrum software development team for Platform-Amplifier DSP, contributing to sprint backlog development for the amplifier roadmap. Your daily tasks will involve data analysis, code modifications, and various programming activities to support release plans for amplifier development. Additionally, you will integrate code into larger software projects, collaborate with fellow engineers to ensure seamless functionality, and take ownership of tasks to enhance development performance continually. In this role, you will work independently and as part of global teams, requiring minimal direct supervision. Serving as the point of contact for technical inquiries within the team, you will actively engage in discussions and debates on different solutions with your colleagues. Your critical thinking skills will be essential in assessing risks, making timely decisions, and striving for superior quality results aligned with the amplifier programs" development roadmap. Moreover, you will liaise with cross-locational SW/HW engineers across various regions to ensure the successful implementation of amplifier development tasks. To be successful in this position, you should hold a relevant degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field and possess over 7 years of experience in embedded software programming languages such as C++ and Python. A solid understanding of embedded RTOS, hardware design, oscilloscope, and logic analyzer usage is required. Additionally, familiarity with digital communication protocols (I2C, A2B, SPI, UART), Google UT framework, and Agile-Scrum practices is essential for this role. Nice-to-have qualifications include knowledge of development tools like CCES, Codesonar, and DevOps tools, familiarity with DSP controllers of ADI in Griffin family, and experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. An active team player with a background in Agile or V-model project life cycles is preferred, along with exposure to automotive networks in CAN and a deep understanding of quality aspects in software development. As part of the eligibility criteria, you should be open to occasional domestic or international travel of up to 2% and able to work in an office setting.
