To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, coupled with 10-12 years of industry experience in ship repair or shipbuilding with a focus on commercial aspects or estimation. Strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, technical knowledge of marine systems, and proficiency in estimation tools and MS Excel are essential for success in this role. Preferred industry backgrounds for this position include experience in shipyards (repair or conversion), marine engineering and technical service companies, or classification societies with a technical-commercial focus. Your proactive, data-driven approach, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills, will be key in driving the growth and success of ship repair projects under your purview.,
