DRONE Battery SALES Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with drone OEMs, fleet operators, defense contractors, and system integrators.
• Lead end-to-end sales process from lead generation, technical consultation, proposal submission, to deal closure.
• Promote and position our range of drone battery packs and battery management systems (BMS) as per client application (agriculture, surveillance, delivery, mapping, etc.).
• Work closely with the engineering and R&D teams to customize battery solutions based on flight time, payload, and performance requirements.
• Develop strategic channel partnerships and reseller networks across regions.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, customer reports, and market intelligence inputs.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
• Ensure post-sales support in coordination with technical and service teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Electronics, Electrical, Aerospace preferred).
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in battery systems, drone technologies, or aerospace/defense sector.
• Proven track record of B2B sales success in a technical product category.
• Familiarity with Li-ion / Li-Po batteries and power electronics is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of drone performance parameters, UAV payload-power matching, and flight endurance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with drone OEMs, logistics or defense clients.
• Technical know-how of battery pack integration, certification, and safety protocols.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and key account relationships.
• Startup mindset: ability to work independently and scale a new vertical.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives + travel allowance
