A delivery driver is responsible for transporting goods from a distribution center to a customer's location. Delivery drivers typically work for a delivery or logistics company and drive a van or truck. Their responsibilities include: Following a schedule: Delivery drivers follow a schedule and find the most efficient routes to avoid delays. Ensuring safety: Delivery drivers ensure that packages are loaded safely and efficiently into their vehicle. They also inspect their vehicle regularly and maintain it to keep it in good working condition. Delivering on time: Delivery drivers are responsible for delivering goods safely and on time. Maintaining records: Delivery drivers maintain records of deliveries made, including delivery confirmations from customers. Building relationships: Delivery drivers establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
