Your Key Responsibilities Performing detailed review of US Corporate Federal Tax returns (1120, 1120PC and 1120L) and State & Local Income tax returns and relevant supporting forms Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state and local income tax returns and other business related filings Reviewing Book To tax adjustments and reclasses – Unearned premiums, discounted unpaid losses, wash- Sales, PFIC, Straddle loss, DRD adjustments etc. Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and other tax documents Perform detailed review of Investment Income Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc. In-depth knowledge of Statutory reporting vs General Accepted Accounting Principles and Adjustments In-depth knowledge of ASC 740, including review and finalization of adjustments.
