You will be responsible for managing and owning support tickets related to existing customer services, as well as collaborating closely with 3rd level engineers for internal escalation points. Your key responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical faults, communicating regularly with customers, managing support tickets effectively, and documenting customer solutions using OSS System, Visio documentation, and technical summaries. Additionally, you will provide resources to the solution delivery team to support the configuration and implementation of new customer projects. To be successful in this position, you should have at least 10 years of experience in a related field, knowledge of networking principles equivalent to CCNA R&S or JNCIS-ENT level, familiarity with layer 2 switching protocols (STP, Dot1Q, QinQ, VPLS), layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP), and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should also have a flexible approach to work, the ability to work effectively under pressure, work well in a team with little supervision, and a strong customer service focus. Additionally, being responsible, willing to take ownership, eager to learn and develop technical skills, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude are important attributes. Desirable knowledge and experience for this role include CCNA, CCNP, and/or JNCIS certifications, experience with Unix based operating systems, programming and scripting experience (Python, bash scripting), Juniper platform configuration experience (SRX and EX series), firewall configuration experience with Fortigate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, experience with Alcatel SR & ESS, and familiarity with networking test tools like Wireshark.
