The role of TECH 03 in the Support Staff and Tech department based in Mumbai requires 0-10 years of work experience and a qualification of M.Sc (Physics) & Diploma in Radiological Physics or M.Sc (Medical Physics). As a TECH 03, your responsibilities will include planning radiation treatments for cancer patients, performing dose calculations, ensuring accurate measurement of radiation output, and conducting patient dosimetry when necessary. You will also be responsible for investigating equipment performance, implementing quality control practices, designing radiation installations, and managing controls for medical radiation hazards. Additionally, you will play a key role in radiation safety by designing shields for treatment rooms, overseeing the safe operation of teletherapy machines, and conducting machine acceptance testing. Collaborating with Senior Physicists, Medical Doctors, and CT Technicians will be essential in providing instruction to professional staff in treatment planning and developing new treatment techniques. Your duties will also involve maintaining records, reports, and files, collecting necessary statistics, and reporting all safety aspects, equipment-related matters, and mishaps to the Head of Department promptly. Active participation in the academic activities and Quality Initiative Improvement of the department and organization is expected from you as a TECH 03.,
