The role you will be responsible for involves working on the development of the Connectivity platform such as Fleet Edge, and making necessary improvements and customizations based on the requirements of various Product Lines. You will own the product plan and delivery for Fleet Edge. Your skill set should include overall knowledge of the product development lifecycle and NPI, as well as supplier relationship management. You should have the ability to evaluate "Make vs Buy" options, knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems, familiarity with connected vehicle sub-systems and architecture design, TCU design basics, and knowledge of automotive data, communication, and Diagnostic protocols such as CAN, J1939, and UDS. Additionally, you should be knowledgeable about CRM and DMS systems, data privacy, and protection strategies for different data types. You should have a good understanding of the overall automotive system, including functional aspects, design, interfacing, application, testing, and integration. Knowledge of cloud architecture, communications protocol basics, app development, and the ability to evaluate supplier proposals for technical recommendations are also essential. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in product engineering and development, with an in-depth understanding of products, development processes, and technologies. Experience with functional documentations like Requirement documents, DFMEA, etc., and new technology integration/development is required. You should also have experience in cross-domain coordination to determine the most optimal designs for executing connectivity outcomes.
