Job Description

Role & responsibilities Position is in Bangalore , Hands on Experience in Handling Production assemble operators, Process Knowledge and Automobile industry / assemble experience with MNC culture exposure. Leading the team of 25 or more members in production Overall responsibility for running the product line with particular focus on Health & Safety, , Quality, Productivity, Cost and Delivery performance targets and ensures that regulations regarding Labor law, quality and environmental issues are met all times. Communicates performance targets and Autoliv requirements effectively and fully support APS and all related continues improvement activities. Runs department/business in line with company values. Day- to-day Activities: Ensure production teams are effectively resourced and are working to the standard processes defined in the APS system. Optimize the manufacturing and support processes in the plant and ensure work instruction process adherence. Analyze and follow up on the quality reports. Prepare plant budget requirements for investment, costs and expenses based. Recommend or initiate personnel action such as disciplinary and discharge measures. Any other function determined by the company. Receive and prepare the Communication from Previous shift / next shift and plan accordingly Meeting with Associates and resolve day today issue Manpower Planning & allocation based on skill level Hourly production Monitoring Product / process parameter verification Associates skill development and maintain record Change over, Machine/Tool setting etc TPM document updation Update, Record Change Point and Abnormal situation Provide Consumables and PPE to operators and Keep record of consumption Ensure 5S in the respective line (Weekly 5S Audit & LOP closure ) Attend Line calls/ Jidoka, record minor stoppage & machine troubleshooting (Machine resetting etc) and take actions for minor stoppage Update SQDCM and Action plan Verification of material issuance from store Station wise collect rejection parts & update rejection record Implement Suggestions and Kaizen in line given by operators Follow Training procedure and develop multiskilling activity Participate in Improvement workshops and Support AMG leader in contributing towards improvements & workshops LOP review from AMT to AMG leader Follow the escalation procedure Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
