Senior Member of Technical Staff - Cloud Engineering Job Description: Oracle Cerner is growing and currently looking for a IC3 Senior Member of Technical Staff for their Cloud Engineering group. As a senior developer, you will be assigned to a specific software product solution. Your responsibilities will be requirement gathering, design and development of custom product in the technologies related to Java, Terraform, any one of the Cloud offerings like AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP. In this role, you will be participating in the full development life cycle of software solutions including designing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting. You will be expected to implement designs by utilizing development languages and tools as per design specifications, routine review of solutions, suggest aesthetic improvements, and participate in project-related sessions such as code reviews and project status meetings. Basic Qualifications: 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, SE, CIS, IT or IS or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. 4 - 8 years of software engineering relevant work experience Excellent coding & scripting skills in Java Spring Boot and exposure to Cloud SDK. Proficient with one of the Cloud Services – AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP. Strong understanding and working knowledge of networking and security principles in any Cloud service.
