JD: Electrical Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, program, and configure PLCs series to automate industrial processes efficiently and reliably.
• Develop HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems using industry-standard software.
• Control cabinet electrical design per UL 508A, Sizing of wiring & Breakers, Heat calculation of cabinet
• Strong knowledge in making electrical schematic using DraftSight / AutoCAD Electrical.
• Create user-friendly interfaces for operators and engineers to monitor and control industrial processes.
• Utilize VBScript and other scripting languages to customize and optimize control systems for specific requirements.
• Apply extensive electrical knowledge to design and troubleshoot control systems including PID controllers, electrical schematics, motor starters, and motor control stations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create control system specifications, and ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues promptly to maintain system performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in industrial automation.
• Expertise in PLC programming
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development using software.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including schematics, motor control, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, ProFiBus, ProFiNet, Ethernet/IP).
• Experience with electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
