Role & responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end maintenance operations for plant machinery involved in solar PV module manufacturing (e.g., laminators, stringers, testers, Bussing, framing machines, Jb Placement and soldering, EL testers, Sorter, Curing line, etc.). Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance plans are effectively implemented and followed. Minimize downtime through proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis of recurring equipment issues. Maintain MTTR & MTBF. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components to avoid delays. Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives in machinery maintenance. Coordinate with production and quality teams to align maintenance plans with manufacturing schedules. Ensure all equipment complies with safety, regulatory, and operational standards. Maintain proper documentation, maintenance logs, and compliance reports as per ISO compliance. Lead a team of maintenance engineers/technicians and ensure skill development through training and mentoring. Preferred candidate profile: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering. 12+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance of plant machinery within a module manufacturing setup.
