Direct Responsibilities Develop and maintain assigned projects in C# and Oracle PL/SQL according to business specification and programming standards. The developer will be required to do significant analysis, developments, Maintenance, and bug fixes. Provide requisite information in the Jira, Intra Wiki or Word document as per the prescribed format for the team. The developer is required to show a steep learning curve to understand the application flows and independently work in the scrum. Would participate and contribute to the work estimation, release and post release activities. Perform peer reviews of the team. Is expected to learn about the product and all parts of the system at code level. Is required to frequently interact (by email/ chat/ phone/ Video Conference) with business Analysts, other application teams, production support in multiple locations. The developer is expected to take on tasks independently and own them across all stages of the SDLC. Contributing Responsibilities Team player. Effectively communicate with stakeholders. Adhere to timelines set for delivery. Open to new technology adaptions, learning and implementation within the project. Maintain the team practices and processes, retrospectives. Status reporting to technical and functional managers Technical & Behavioral Competencies 5 plus years of experience in software development and system architecture with Microsoft technologies. Strong Knowledge of C# OOPs, Generics, Delegates, Extension, Reflection, and other concepts. Experience in .Net Framework (4.0 and above) Should be aware of Multithreading Concepts Knowledge of creating Windows Services in C#. Working knowledge of SQL development is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating technical documentation. Ability to work independently with Business Users, defining development requirements, managing technical aspects of User Acceptance Test Sound knowledge of Software Engineering and Object-Oriented programming Very good in investigating issues and providing solutions. Possess the ability to explain and articulate solutions and work constructively with others including more senior and junior members in the team to implement the same. Have a can do” attitude that focuses on resolving the overall problem in the medium and long term as well as meeting the short-term objectives. Willingness and ability to put in effort even when not explicitly requested to do so DevOps Knowledge – Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Ansible.
