As an Aircraft Technician in the Base Maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of Emirates and third-party aircraft by carrying out maintenance tasks in compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine servicing, maintenance, and approved repairs on aircraft, engines, and components while adhering to manufacturers" procedures and safety protocols. Your duties will include assisting in troubleshooting, defect rectifications, and modifications as per job card instructions. You will also contribute to fostering a safety culture to minimize accidents and report any deficiencies that could compromise safety. Maintaining clean work areas and ensuring timely completion of tasks to maximize ground time and prevent operational disruptions will be essential aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, specifically as an Aircraft/Engine Technician with a reputable airline or MRO company. Additionally, you must have completed an apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or received equivalent training from an approved aircraft maintenance organization. Alternatively, possessing an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License along with 7 years of experience will also meet the educational requirements.
