Your day at NTT DATA The Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) is a seasoned engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, as well as product reviews, operational improvements, operational practices, and quality assurance this role maintains a high level of service to clients. The primary objective of this role is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions and is responsible for managing tickets of high complexity, conducts advanced and complicated tasks, and provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems. This position uses considerable judgment and independent analysis within defined policies and practices and applies analytical thinking and deep technical expertise in achieving client outcomes, while coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions. The Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required. What youll be doing Key Responsibilities: Degree or equivalent/higher qualifications with 07 to 10 years of relevant working experience Network management, DC operations / Project / Resource Management skills with at least 5 years experience in handling similar operations. ITIL Certification with service management exposure People Management - ability to lead / motivate L1, L2, L3 team and ensure service delivery, incident resolution. Strong working Knowledge of routing, switching, UDP protocol (L3/L4 Level), Packet level troubleshooting. Involvement in all S1 calls all critical incident calls with high impact on business and ensuring all Stake holders are updated timely Initiating/Reviewing of all the SIPs across domain and keep a track of it. Reviewing Monthly MIS and presenting it to customer. Ensuring timelines on all the actionables on weekly MOMs and review it with customer. Support Structure Reviews including Capacity/Resource Planning. Closing of all escalations within Singe Business Day. Internal Meetings with all the domain leads in developing strategy for better co-ordination among teams. Reviewing the Roster plan for the team and ensuring backup engineer for all critical issues. Ensuring proper handover for the team members leaving the organisation and controlling attrition. Make random checks for verifying the Daily handover and checklists are being filled and followed. Driving new initiatives for improving overall service delivery, Ensuring all the audit points which has comeup during external/Internal audits are closed. Performance checks and random tests and prepare action plans on performance issues. Review of all the reports on a weekly/monthly basis for all the Domains. Raising the concerns of the team with backend and customer, Review of Processes and their roll-out. CSAT to be done as per norms with high Customer Satisfaction Ratio. Screening fresh and experiened candidates for different roles. Participation with customer in upcoming projects, prepare CB analysis, check the feasibility, share the best practices and then involvement in the implementation of the project.
