As a MongoDB DevOps and DBA Administrator, you will be an integral part of our team, focusing on database administration and DevOps practices tailored specifically for MongoDB environments. Your role will also entail contributing to the documentation of database architectures and procedures, creating and maintaining operational runbooks, staying updated with MongoDB features and industry trends, engaging in relevant training and certification programs, and continuously expanding your knowledge base. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, have 2-4 years of IT experience with at least 2 years involving MongoDB, a basic understanding of MongoDB architecture, familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python), knowledge of database security fundamentals, strong problem-solving abilities, eagerness to learn, and effective communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), basic knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and an understanding of CI/CD concepts.
