Database Developer 3 (Third Party)

The role involves developing functions, stored procedures, and packages in Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, and Maria DB. You will utilize external tables, bulk statement processing, dynamic statement execution, bind variables, and ref cursors, along with PL/SQL object types. SQL statement tuning and reviewing explain plans will be crucial, as well as working with large volumes of data in partitioned tables. Integration with ETL processes and experience with ETL tools are necessary. Your responsibilities will include coding applications using best practices, documentation, and unit testing. You will contribute to design improvement and product enhancement, demonstrating the ability to understand unique requirements and implement them. It is essential to be a self-learner, work independently, and effectively manage tasks. Preferred skills include excellent relational database design skills, knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing tools, patterns, and processes. Familiarity with scripting languages, web servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, and Java/J2EE frameworks would be advantageous.,
