Database Developer 3

The role involves developing functions, stored procedures, and packages. You will work with external tables, bulk statement processing, dynamic statement execution, bind variables, and ref cursors, along with PL/SQL object types. Your responsibilities will also include SQL statement tuning, reviewing explain plans, and utilizing optimizer hints. Experience in handling large volumes of data and partitioned tables, as well as integration with ETL processes and tools, is crucial. You are expected to code applications following best practices and documentation guidelines. Knowledge of Java/J2EE is an added advantage. Unit testing, design improvement, and product enhancement are part of your responsibilities. You must demonstrate the ability to understand unique requirements and implement them effectively. Being a self-learner, working independently, and managing tasks efficiently are essential qualities for this role. Skills required: - Excellent relational database design skills - Proficiency in Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, and Maria DB - Familiarity with Extract Transform Load (ETL) concepts and technologies - Understanding of data warehousing tools, patterns, and processes - Knowledge of scripting languages is an added advantage - Experience with web servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and Weblogic, along with any additional web servers - Knowledge of Java/J2EE frameworks is an added advantage,
