Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also engaging in proactive monitoring and troubleshooting to prevent potential problems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures. - Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Database Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Database Architecture, Google Cloud Data Services. - Strong understanding of SQL and database query optimization. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for databases. - Familiarity with database security practices and compliance requirements. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Database Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
