How you'll make an impact Data CatalogComplianceImplementationlearning by doing Define andmaintainthe roadmap for the Enterprise Data Catalog and Data Supermarket Configureandexecutedeployment of cataloging tools (e. g. , metadata management, lineage, glossary) Ensure alignment with DAMA-DMBOK principles Governance Framework Execution Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, and Custodians to define and enforce data policies, standards, and RACI mode Support the Data Governance Council and contribute to the development of governance artifacts (e. g. , roles, regulations, KPIs) Data Quality Stewardship Partner with domain experts to drive data profiling, cleansing, and validation initiatives Monitor data quality metrics and support remediation efforts across domains Stakeholder Engagement Enablement Provide training and support to business users on catalog usage and governance practices Act as a liaison between business and IT to ensure data needs are met and governance is embedded in operations Innovation Continuous Improvement Stay current with industry trends and tool capabilities (e. g. , Databricks, SAP MDG) Propose enhancements to governance processes and tooling based on user feedback and analytics Your background Bachelors degree in information systems, Data Science, Business Informatics, or related field 1-3 years of experience in data governance, data management, or analytics roles Familiarity with DAMA DMBOK2framework and data governance tools (e. g.SAP MDG, Data Sphere, Business Warehouse,Data Intelligence,InformaticaETL, ) Strong communicationand collaboration skills; ability to work across business and technical teams.
