Data Analytics Engineer - Senior Manager

As an Analytics Engineer at State Street Corporation, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into clean, organized, and accessible datasets to create compelling narratives backed by insights. You will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive analytics solutions and interactive dashboards using your advanced engineering and analytics skills. Your role will involve combining and analyzing multiple datasets with proficiency in Python and SQL, preparing high-quality reports for various stakeholders, and proactively identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes through data engineering and automation. You will independently drive stakeholder engagements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage your expertise in Python, SQL, Databricks, Tableau, and other tools to deliver impactful analytics solutions. Your responsibilities will include implementing data validation frameworks, enhancing reporting infrastructure, and ensuring the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of data used in reporting. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, or Finance, along with 7-10 years of experience in a data engineering/analytics role. You should have proven experience in developing automated reports and visualizations, as well as proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, and Tableau. Experience in financial services or risk/control functions is a plus. You should possess strong analytical skills, project management abilities, and the capacity to influence cross-functionally in a dynamic business environment. Additionally, you should have a curious mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Fluency in English is required.
