In your role, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care within your assigned unit and collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to coordinate care planning. Your duties will include assessing patient history and support systems, identifying learning needs of patients and their families, developing and implementing individualized care plans, recommending appropriate interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the care provided. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate active participation in unit and facility activities, as well as a willingness to mentor and precept employees and students as directed. You will need to show competence in performing critical nursing skills tailored to the age-specific needs of the patients under your care. Supervising LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters will also be part of your responsibilities.
