Indian Police Foundation invites applications for the position of a State Supervisor in Hyderabad, Telangana for the Internal Police Reforms project. This is a temporary role for one year, extendable up to 3 years, involving travel across India. The ideal candidate is a retired police officer with a rank of ADGP/IGP/DIG/SP/Addl SP and a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in supervising police stations. Familiarity with the Telangana State Police Manual, criminal laws, circulars from MHA/State Govt., relevant SC judgments, NHRC directives, and recommendations of various police commissions is preferred. The State Supervisor will be responsible for visiting 15 police stations monthly, submitting reports, attending office regularly, coordinating with SPs/CPs, State Nodal officer, trainers, and Project Directorate, possessing working knowledge of computers, and demonstrating proficiency in English and Telugu languages. Remuneration includes Rs 75,000/- per month with a 5% annual increment, provision of a vehicle/taxi, office space in Police Hqrs./Police Academy, secretarial assistance, economy airfare for official travel, and boarding/lodging arrangements. Key responsibilities of the State Supervisor in Telangana encompass establishing the Project Management Unit and selecting staff, conducting meetings with stakeholders, evaluating public perception in selected Police Stations, finalizing project recommendations, preparing training material, supervising training sessions, monitoring police stations, compiling reports, participating in evaluations, and supporting project activities as required. Counsels, in relation to the vetting/inputs/court cases/ litigation etc. Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory guidelines including Aadhaar act, various criminal laws and Aadhaar Act.
