Job Description

You will be working as a key member of WonderLab, an organization that aims to bring the magic of science to children through engaging activities and experiments. WonderLab collaborates with families, schools, malls, and corporates to make learning fun and accessible. In partnership with Taabur, a growing parenting community focused on early learning experiences, WonderLab is dedicated to creating an ecosystem that fosters curiosity, creativity, and holistic development for children aged 0-10. Your role will involve training and mentoring young science anchors, developing hands-on science and art content, and leading engaging performances to ignite children's passion for learning. This position is a unique blend of performance, education, and training, ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children, have a passion for storytelling and science, and aspire to build a team that delivers exceptional learning experiences at various events and workshops. Key Responsibilities: - Train and onboard new anchors for events and workshops - Provide structured feedback and mentorship to anchors - Develop and enhance scripts, activities, and training modules for children aged 0-10 - Lead science shows and workshops as a senior anchor at significant events - Coordinate anchor schedules with the operations team for seamless event delivery - Collaborate on creative content creation, including Canva designs, activity ideas, and social media content To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities: - Confident performer capable of captivating a room full of enthusiastic children - Excellent with children, warm, expressive, and energetic - Experience in training or teaching young children - Comfortable with hands-on creative work such as DIYs, arts & crafts, and simple experiments - Passionate about science with a talent for storytelling and engaging audiences - Highly organized, proactive, and possess good communication skills - Proficient in Canva, Google Drive, and basic editing tools (an advantage) Desirable qualifications and experiences include a background in science or education, proficiency in events, theatre, workshops, or live performances, and a strong portfolio of child-oriented content or activities. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 30,000 to 40,000 per month, based on experience.
