We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in CATIA and core engine component design such as crankcase, cylinder head, and crankshaft. You should have a comprehensive understanding of engine systems, GD&T, and Teamcenter PLM, along with a profound knowledge of casting and forging development for automotive applications. Your responsibilities will include designing and supporting the development of engine components through CATIA V5, focusing on casting and forging. You will collaborate on projects involving crankcase, crankshaft, cylinder head, and engine blocks. Utilizing GD&T, tolerancing, and detailed drawing interpretation for manufacturing purposes will be a key aspect of your role. In addition, you will be involved in the design of mechanical systems like crank train and valve train, and will use Teamcenter PLM for product data management. Your support will be crucial in integrating engine systems into various automobile platforms, and you will be expected to apply your knowledge of engine manufacturing processes effectively. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The successful candidate must be willing to reliably commute or plan to relocate before commencing work. A Bachelor's degree is required for this role, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in engine design using CATIA.
