Oversee copper extraction processes such as flotation, smelting, converting, fire refining, and electrorefining. Monitor and improve metallurgical performance metrics like recovery, yield, throughput, and product quality. Analyze metallurgical test data to recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Develop and implement SOPs and process control strategies to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Troubleshoot operational and quality issues across the process circuit. Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and maintenance teams for process enhancement. Evaluate new technologies and equipment to improve performance or sustainability. Assist in plant commissioning, expansion, and technical audits. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Prepare and maintain metallurgical reports, KPIs, and documentation. Preferred Industry Background: Base metals (Copper/Nickel/Zinc) smelting or refining companies Mineral processing firms or EPC/Engineering consultancies in the metals sector Mining/metallurgical R&D centers
