Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate and enhance current DevOps practices to optimize deployment processes across the Salesforce landscape. - Lead the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines using Copado CI/CD, Copado CRT, and Azure DevOps. - Troubleshoot and resolve Copado deployment errors affecting development and delivery timelines. - Design and implement release automation, rollback procedures, version control integrations, and branching strategies. - Collaborate closely with development, QA, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments across various environments. - Identify automation opportunities and implement scripts or tools to streamline deployment workflows. - Support the integration of automated testing into deployment pipelines to ensure high-quality releases. - Monitor and ensure that DevOps practices align with organizational metrics and performance standards. - Maintain environment consistency, sandbox readiness, compliance requirements, automation, and seed data loading. - Manage complex Salesforce metadata structures and dependencies, including CPQ metadata deployment strategies. - Engage with security and compliance teams to ensure alignment with data governance and audit requirements. - Champion DevOps principles, promote collaboration between development and operations, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. - Evaluate and recommend enhancements to tools that improve DevOps efficiency and scalability. - Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and Salesforce DevOps trends. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in DevOps or release engineering, with at least 3 years supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud. - Strong Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative configuration. - In-depth knowledge of Salesforce metadata structure and dependencies, particularly in CPQ environments. - Proficiency in Copado CI/CD, Copado CRT, Azure DevOps, and Git-based version control systems. - Experience with deployment automation, rollback strategies, and metadata management. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions clearly. - Salesforce and Copado Certifications, experience with Own Backup or similar solutions, and familiarity with Agile environments and additional DevOps tools.
