Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer

You will be responsible for creating and validating CMM programs using CAD models and technical drawings in software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso (Zeiss), MODUS (Renishaw), MCOSMOS (Mitutoyo), Quindos, Verisurf, and PolyWorks Inspector. Your role will involve interpreting 3D CAD files, applying GD&T to define inspection routines, and simulating inspection paths to validate programs for measurement logic, accuracy, and efficiency. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to define inspection requirements and provide technical support for CMM operations, troubleshooting software-related issues. Additionally, you will maintain an organized digital library of inspection programs and documentation while staying updated with software updates and new functionality to enhance inspection capabilities. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in one or more of the following CMM software platforms: PC-DMIS, Calypso, MODUS, MCOSMOS, Quindos, Verisurf, or PolyWorks. A strong understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards is essential, along with experience working with CAD tools like NX or Catia.
