This role involves transitioning our existing PDF documentation into a modern, interactive help center using tools like MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain internal-facing technical documentation, such as user guides and training materials, for software developers, administrators, and configurators. Transform existing PDF documentation into an interactive, user-friendly help center using XML authoring tools. Collaborate with SMEs and project managers to ensure the accuracy and quality of documentation. Proactively acquire in-depth knowledge of our software and processes. Manage an online repository of documentation, ensuring timely updates and adherence to deadlines. Continuously enhance documentation quality by suggesting improvements to the style guide, templates, and processes. Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in English, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). 3.5 to 6.5 years of experience in technical writing and user documentation for software products. Proficiency in XML-based authoring tools like MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp is essential. Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate complex technical concepts. Experience with API documentation and creating training materials is an advantage. Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with web-based software development or platform development. Work samples showcasing user documentation, preferably for technical software.
