Title : Electrical Design and R&D Engineer - Low Voltage Switchgear Reports to: R&D Department Manager Key Responsibilities: Review electrical designs, drawings, and specifications for compliance with standards. Conduct research to improve existing products and develop innovative low-voltage switchgear solutions. Perform simulations and validations using tools like ANSYS, COMSOL or any similar software. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, QC, and procurement to ensure design feasibility and prototyping readiness. Document design changes and maintain detailed technical records. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering. 8+ years of experience in low voltage switchgear. Proficiency in simulation and CAD tools (e.g., Eplan, ETAP, ANSYS). Strong understanding of IEC standards and switchgear components.
