Schedule and manage nursing shifts to ensure adequate coverage and effective patient care 24/7. Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and evaluations to ensure that the nursing team remains knowledgeable and compassionate. Quality Assurance and Process Improvement Monitor and maintain high standards of nursing care, implementing quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with healthcare and safety standards. Evaluate and address patient and family feedback, implementing improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and care quality. Identify areas for process improvement in nursing operations, leading initiatives to improve efficiency and patient outcomes. Documentation and Reporting Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare and submit reports on nursing activities, patient care metrics, and staffing needs to senior management. Maintain detailed records of medication administration, treatment progress, and any changes in patient status. Patient and Family Support Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families, ensuring they feel heard, informed, and comforted during their care journey. Educate patients and families on palliative care practices, symptom management, and self-care to enhance comfort and understanding. Facilitate effective communication between patients, families, and the care team.
