We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 35 years of hands-on experience in Python scripting and GUI test automation using the Squish testing framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of test automation best practices and a proactive approach to test case design and maintenance. Experience in the healthcare domain or familiarity with medical device testing is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Squish. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application functionality and identify automation opportunities. Execute and monitor automated test runs, analyze failures, and report defects using tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Compass). Maintain and improve automation frameworks to enhance scalability and performance. Participate in test planning, estimation, and documentation processes. Ensure quality and traceability standards are met for regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485 if in medical device projects). Required Skills: Strong programming experience in Python. Proficient with Squish test automation tool for GUI applications. Experience in automating desktop, web, or Qt-based applications. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), test management tools. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC, and agile methodologies. Good to Have: Exposure to the healthcare domain (e.g., PACS, DICOM, HL7, or medical imaging systems). Experience in testing embedded systems or medical devices. Experience in performance testing or security testing. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.5 and above Min 2 yrs. of QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred) Good understanding of upstream applications. Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc. ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional) Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA) Comfortable with Agile methodologies Excellent Communication Skills Job Role Responsibilities: Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows Define, create and maintain Test environments Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion Track Bugs through resolution and implementation Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition
