You will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with other sections to ensure requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control are maintained effectively. Additionally, you will be in charge of controlling food stock and food costs in your section/kitchen. Your role will involve cooking food and preparing top-quality menu items promptly. It is essential to ensure that all stocks are well maintained and that mise en place for food preparation is completed in your section. You will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards and consistent quality in daily food preparation. It is imperative to stay updated with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing mise-en-place for banquets and restaurant buffets as per the F.P guidelines. Informing the Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials and communicating available items and chef's special menu to F&B service staff will also be part of your duties. Operating kitchen equipment safely and responsibly is crucial to this role. You will be required to prepare daily mise-en-place and food production in various sections of the main pantry or satellites. Cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist is an essential aspect of this position. Flexibility and willingness to assist other departments during busy times will be necessary. This is a full-time, permanent position with day and morning shift schedules. The ideal candidate should have a total of 2 years of work experience. The work location will be in person.,
