The SRE & Systems team at Realpage is a global team responsible for supporting, provisioning, and de-provisioning multiple open-source application environments. As an ENGINEER I at RealPage, you will report to the Sr. MANAGER - SRE & Systems and play a key role in provisioning, de-provisioning, and supporting various open-source application environments" infrastructure. It is essential to be flexible and willing to work in different shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include being an SRE for critical products, monitoring, supporting, and enhancing them. You should have solid LINUX support experience in an IT environment, particularly within a technical industry, focusing on server deployment, monitoring, and support. Additionally, you will need to have a working knowledge of GCP environments and be proficient in working with ANSIBLE & Ansible Towers, including Playbook, Inventories, Scheduling, and Repo management. Furthermore, you will be expected to work with clustering technologies, server farming techniques, and load balancing, such as F5 Big IP or other hardware load balancing solutions. Your expertise in Disaster Recovery techniques, including backup and restoration technologies, replication strategies, fail-over, and recovery, will be crucial for this role. Automation technologies for rapid deployment of server builds and software deployment should also be within your skill set, along with experience in installation and configurations of Apache, Samba, FTP, NFS, and LDAP. To excel in this position, you must possess a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience, with at least 2 years as an SRE. Strong troubleshooting skills, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to adapt to them are essential. You will be required to provide governance and oversight to guide the implementation towards solution delivery, as well as mentor and lead the team to ensure successful project delivery. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must, along with expertise in build & release, automations, CAAS, and various other technical capabilities. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing automated builds and releases, benchmarking industry standards, and ensuring efficient and quality delivery and deployments. You will also contribute to and review deployment plans, schedule installations, and lead analytical and design activities with approved technologies aligned with organizational standards.
