As a Senior Staff SDET Engineer at Netradyne, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field, along with 10 to 15 years of experience in software testing and automation. You should possess at least 7 years of strong experience in automation, including 5+ years of leading an automation team. Your responsibilities will include thoroughly understanding product requirements, developing detailed test plans and test cases, and automating these test cases. You will lead the automation team, integrate and maintain automation scripts in CI/CD, and conduct functional, integration, and system testing. Collaboration with product management and development teams will be crucial to enhance product quality. Additionally, you will generate and analyze test metrics to guide quality improvements. To excel in this role, you must have a comprehensive understanding of the Software Product Development Life Cycle, along with strong experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using open-source tools like TestNG, Selenium, and Appium. Proficiency in REST API testing, writing test cases, defect logging, and test reporting is essential. Experience with SQL, expertise in Selenium, TestNG, and Java, and familiarity with CI/CD are required. Experience in mobile automation and performance testing would be advantageous, as well as an understanding of cloud-hosted applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and an aptitude for adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
