Job Summary As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the databases and scripts that power Creditsafes products and websites. You will be responsible for handling large datasets, designing scalable data pipelines, and ensuring seamless data processing across cloud environments. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to an exciting, fast paced, and rapidly expanding organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable, metadata-driven, event-based distributed data processing platforms. Design and implement data solutions using Python, Airflow, Redshift, DynamoDB, AWS Glue, and S3. Build and optimize APIs to securely handle over 1,000 transactions per second using serverless technologies. Participate in peer reviews and contribute to a clean, efficient, and high-performance codebase. Implement best practices such as continuous integration, test-driven development, and cloud optimization. Understand company and domain data to suggest improvements in existing products. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the engineering team. Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Python and experience in building scalable data pipelines. Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB). Strong understanding of data architecture, database design, and event-driven data processing. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
